I'm a junior Computer Science major at Colorado State University, graduating in Spring 2027. Dean's List, 4.0 GPA last semester.
I build things two ways: fully from scratch when depth matters (like KanaCard and my Environmental Monitor), and with AI tools when the goal is shipping fast. The first proves I know what I'm doing. The second proves I can get things done. Knowing when to use which is half the job.
When I'm not staring at Xcode, I'm usually out logging miles running. I'm currently training for a 10k! Honestly, grinding through a long run hits exactly the same as trying to figure out a stubborn bug. I've found that you just have to keep pushing until it clicks.
Off the clock, I'm either learning Japanese, watching anime, reading manga (currently planning a trip for post-grad!), or I'm sitting at the piano singing some old-school crooner stuff. If I've got headphones on, it's usually jazz, j-pop or some 80's new wave hits.
